SFA is a non-profit standard-holding and membership organization that represents a global alliance of supply chain actors, stakeholders, and industry experts with a mission to drive positive change in natural fibre value chains. SFA’s vision is “a responsible and inclusive global natural fibres sector that safeguards the health & well-being of people, animals and the environment.”
Fishers Finery’s SFA membership demonstrates that our luxury cashmere adheres to verifiable standards and social responsibility criteria—empowering conscious consumers to choose quality products that support people and the planet.
While our cashmere collection inventory is not currently 100% SFA certified, we’re pleased to announce that our supply chain is now officially SFA certified, meaning all new inventory will be SFA certified. From the producer to the processor level, our suppliers adhere to the strict SFA Animal Fibre and Clean Fibre Processing Standards—guaranteeing you a finished product you can feel good about.
We are actively turning over our older non-SFA certified inventory and plan for all new inventory to be SFA certified within the next year(s).
