Six thousand years of the world's finest fiber
Silk was so prized in ancient China that it was used like gold to pay officials, and it traveled the world along the Silk Road. Ours is Grade 6A mulberry silk, the longest and softest strands available, woven in a charmeuse for a smooth, lustrous face.
Because the silkworm's cocoon naturally guards against dust mites, mold and fungus, the finished silk stays naturally hypoallergenic.
Every maker we work with is certified to OEKO-TEX® Made in Green, independently tested for harmful substances and produced in environmentally and socially responsible facilities. We finish our silk with gentle, low impact dyes.

Came right on time! I love that it is a fold over inclosure. I’ve had silk pillowcases either zippers before and they do not hold up. Super soft. Just seems a bit large is all.

The items are fine, but I don't feel that they are worth the money paid. I washed the pillowcases upon receipt on the hand wash cycle according to the washing instructions, using the mesh bag included, and they do not feel soft / high quality at all. One of the cases appears to have a pull in it even before first use. Unfortunately for the money paid, I could have purchased similar quality items from a big box store and purchased a larger quantity than I was able to afford with this purchase. I purchased these cases to help reduce scalp issues, and have not yet had them long enough to determine if they live up to that purpose.

Light gray satin pillow cover.... is awesome. My hair doesn't get dry and frizzy anymore after sleeping. That's why I bought it, so I am happy with it. I do recommend.

Silk Pillowcase Obsessed with the colors of these pillowcases. Feel super smooth and cooling and are so much better for my hair!
Blue Pillowcase The blue is different than the picture shows, lighter and less blue, but still a really nice pillowcase!
It’s really very nice,, the green color is more of a yellow green than a sage green. It does wash nice and dry it for a few minutes then hang it up to finish drying.
Envelope pink pillowcase The washing instructions are very helpful (it was included in the postcard inside the box. It washed beautifully and the quality looks very promising
My favorite Wonderful, the silk is beautiful and feels terrific. I particularly like the envelope closure, no zipper to break like on my previous silk pillowcase. The color is rich and elegant too.

What does momme mean, and why 19?
Momme measures how much silk is in the fabric. At 19 momme, ours is light and breathable, in the same 100% Grade 6A mulberry silk as our heavier weights, at our best entry price. Want a denser feel? Our 25 momme has 32% more silk and our 30 momme has 58% more. Read our momme guide.
Is this real silk, or satin?
Real Grade 6A mulberry silk, certified to OEKO-TEX® Made in Green, label ID M27M35W78. Satin is a weave, often polyester; ours is 100 percent mulberry silk.
How does it help my hair and skin?
Silk is smooth and absorbs far less than cotton. Your hair glides instead of snagging, so there is less frizz and bedhead, skin is not pressed into sleep creases, and the serums you went to bed in stay on your skin instead of soaking into your pillow. Many customers notice it within the first week.
Does it have a zipper?
No. A hidden envelope closure holds your pillow in place with nothing to snag hair or scratch skin, so it works as a pillowcase or a sham.
Which size and color should I choose?
Pick the size that fits your pillows: Standard (20" x 28"), Queen (20" x 30") or King (20" x 36"). It comes in 9 colors, including undyed Natural White. Matching your sheets is an easy place to start.
